At The Beginning of the End in my old job, when my head was fixated on Ashlyn Writes dreams, I would tuck earbuds into my publicist ears and while the hours listening to Periscope small biz advice from this new found creativepreneur land I found.
I follow a lot of amazing, helpful women, but these are the ones that have been most helpful to me. Maybe one day you’ll see my face ‘scoping. Eek! Until then, here are my favorite ladies of Periscope.
Emily Potts
Favorite, no doubt. My Type A soul yogi bows to her Type A soul each time: Emily cuts to the chase and gets after it. She doesn’t get too distracted and talks quickly, and because of that, I get more business wisdom in 15 minutes with her than I get out of some entire webinars. Emily, if you’re out there, I confess that I’m only a mompreneur if you count German Shepherd puppies. But I’m your biggest fan.
Victoria Rothwell
MUST follow if you’re a calligrapher. I basically feel like we’re friends. I’m limiting what I type here because I’m gonna come off as this super fangirl.
OatsDIY
Similar! She’s this fantastic artist and calligrapher, but my favorite thing is the way she shares Periscopes I’m interested in. It’s like she is my personal Periscope shopper. “Why Oats, you just know me SO well, of course I would like that random scope …”
Reina // Reina + Co.
I can’t wax poetic enough about how she helps me whittle down small biz goal setting and calms down the hustle for me. Reina’s like a cheerleader who says “Ashlyn, I see your brain on total overload today. So, I’m your coach, and here are three steps to make that project happen.”
Kristin Kaplan
Here’s the other place I’m going to fangirl all out. Follow this ladyboss. Kristin single-handedly has taught me how to price my services and not apologize. My tendancy to cringe over my rates is loud and proud. Wes has Kristin to thank: I’d have a very expensive hobby if it wasn’t for Kristin Kaplan teaching me how to price honestly and stand up for it.
Like I said, so tough to narrow down, but these are my go-to’s! Who do you follow?
