If you’ve ever wondered how to make AI work for you as a copywriter or business owner, buckle up. In the last 12 months, I’ve spent minimum 260 hours—yes, 260 hours—inside ChatGPT and Claude. That’s not even counting the time spent in AI tools baked into other software. I’m talking flat-out hours creating bots, fine-tuning prompts, and engineering workflows. I’ve talked about it (and what tools I like beyond just Claude or ChatGPT) here, here, and here.
While I’m not about to let AI write my sales pages or emails from scratch (over my dead body!), I’ve found game-changing ways to use it as a brainstorming buddy, confidence booster, and productivity powerhouse.
Today, I’m sharing five AI prompts that I’ll carry into this year—and I’m convinced they’ll supercharge your creativity and efficiency too.
You’ll learn …
Let’s dive into these prompts and see how they can revolutionize your content & copywriting processes.
Time is my most valuable asset. That’s the one thing that I can’t create more of. So when I am booty and chair at my desk I need to be able to crunch out some serious stuff.
For this post, I’m including screenshots from exactly what we send our CopyBank.Club subscribers, so you can get a taste of that. Sometimes, it’s helpful to just have copy/pasteable prompts; sometimes, it’s also helpful to see how it looks. I included both.

The “Why I Bought” Cruncher
Let’s talk about one of the most essential parts of copywriting: voice of customer (VOC) data. If you’ve ever been overwhelmed by endless survey responses, this prompt will change your life.
As copywriters, we know the importance of voice of customer data. VOC data (or what our Copywriting for Creatives students call it, “CVH” for Client/Customer Voice Hacking) is how you decode the messaging that resonates with your audience. It’s about understanding not just what people want but why they buy—and this prompt helps you zero in on that.

However, sifting through endless feedback forms—whether it’s Typeform or Honeybook/Dubsado “why did you want to work with me” responses—can be time-consuming. That’s where this prompt comes in handy:
THE PROMPT:
“Analyze the following customer feedback and identify: 1) The top 3 reasons customers decided to buy, 2) Their main hesitations before purchasing, and 3) Unexpected benefits they experienced after using the product/service. Summarize findings and provide insights to improve marketing messages.”
or
========
Here’s how I use it:
- After a sale, we send an email (typically the second in our fulfillment sequence) asking customers what tipped them over the edge. Whether it’s a Typeform or Google Form, the responses go straight into a spreadsheet with this prompt.
- AI crunches the data, highlighting persuasion points, common objections, and unexpected wins—giving you gold for future campaigns.
This prompt helps you craft messaging that tackles objections before they arise and amplifies the reasons customers love your product:
- Highlight key selling points in your messaging
- Address common objections preemptively → Like I always say, address the elephant in the room BEFORE your prospect has a chance to
- Uncover your “Onlyness Factor” → start to see patterns in what sets you/your offer apart from the competition
This one’s so solid. It’s a new kit staple.

The Split Test Genie
Split testing is crucial for optimizing your content. You ~know~ this should be something you do … but where do you even begin? What’s even a good split test to run based on your business model and needs!?
That’s where the Split Test Genie comes in.
THE PROMPT:
I would like you to craft an A/B testing plan for a specific landing page. My goal is to optimize conversion rates.
My #1 goal on this page is for the user to [insert your goal, ex. “sign up for my newsletter” or “click to complete an application to work with me” or “join my challenge”]. The secondary goal outcome I have is [desired user action here, ex. “consider clicking to our services page instead” or “to position me as a thought leader.”]
The plan needs to focus on [add any specific elements or sections about your landing page, ex. “better ways I can use the hero section” or “imagery elements, as the copy performs well” or “messaging & copy suggestions”].
OPTIONAL – KPIs I’m most interested in measuring are [add here, ex. “webinar registrations” or “email address submissions” or “clicks off the homepage to the services page specifically” or “add to cart actions”].
========
It’s like having a back-pocket marketing strategist or conversion rate optimization expert in your pocket.
Why I love it:
- It’s great for brainstorming headlines, button text, social proof placement, pricing layouts, and more.
- After evergreen-ing a lot of our offers in 2024, I’m using this prompt to refine and optimize everything—from landing pages to email funnels.
If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a mad scientist in your own business, this prompt will get you there.
The Mic Drop Moments Content Catalyst
Sometimes, the best ideas come from being asked the right questions. Whether you’re a podcast host, guest, or just brainstorming new content, this prompt is a goldmine.
THE PROMPT:
I need you to act as a top-ranked podcast host. You run a show that speaks to [target audience]. You're a fantastic interviewer, fiercely curious, and bold. With a journalistic-like approach, you can pull out answers from your guests that delve deep into their expertise & apply it to the current [add anything you want to tie-in to newsworthiness here, like "economic and cultural environment"]. They enjoy talking to you, because you ask questions that deviate from the canned answers they often must give.
I am a [how you describe what you do]. You will be interviewing me on a specific topic. I will provide the content for you to review. You can ask me questions directly related to the content, or you can ask me questions in adjacent categories that expand on those concepts.
Provide a list of 15 questions you would like to ask me on your show. Get curious! Do not try to provide answers or guidance—I'm looking for JUST the question (and any framing around the question that's necessary for context!).
Here's the content: [paste blog content, script, episode link, newsletter copy, etc.]
========
Here’s how I’ve used it:
- After a podcast interview where the host asked amazing questions, I realized those same questions could fuel new content for my blog and social media. This prompt replicates that magic.
- Feed AI a long-form piece of your content (like a blog post or script), and it’ll generate questions that push you to think deeper about your expertise. It’s also great for repurposing content creatively.
Pro tip: This isn’t just about content ideas—it’s also a fantastic way to prepare for interviews and feel confident answering challenging questions.

The Value Prop Idea Generator
Next—struggling to nail down why your product or service rocks? This prompt will do the heavy lifting for you.
THE PROMPT:
I need to work on the value prop of one of my offers, [offer/service/product name].
This is the problem [offer/service/product name] solves: [put problem here]
Essentially, it is a [container, ex. “Digital download” or “course” or “1-on-1 experience”] for [audience, said simply].
It's targeted for the [audience, said another way] desiring [what they want] while [what they also want]. This target audience is committed to [another desire or pain point they want to avoid]. They also desire [any other desires].
What makes my offer unique?
[Benefit, messaging quip, or fact about your offer #1]
[Benefit, messaging quip, or fact about your offer #2]
[Benefit, messaging quip, or fact about your offer #3]
[Benefit, messaging quip, or fact about your offer #4]
Please generate 10 potential value prop ideas that:
Succinctly communicate the solution in a unique way
Are snappy, quippy, memorable, and easy to understand—use a clear, friendly brand voice
Address my target audience's needs and desires
Differentiate from typical offerings in this space—high-ticket masterminds, high-ticket coaching, memberships where you never hear from the main person, etc.
Could carve out a new niche or fill a gap in the market
For all 10 value prop ideas you supply, I would like to see:
The 1-liner value prop statement
A secondary line or two line of marketing copy providing more color and tone to the value prop.
An explanation of how this specific value prop positions my offer
========
This prompt is perfect for crafting those snappy one-liners that perfectly encapsulate your offer. Why it works:
- It helps you craft those snappy one-liners that sum up your offer’s value.
- Use it for landing pages, headline ideas, or even ad copy.
I’ve tweaked this prompt endlessly, and it consistently delivers sharp, memorable value props. Pair it with a clear understanding of your unique selling proposition (USP) or Onlyness Factor, and you’ve got messaging that pops.
The Dream Day Script
Let’s end with a touch of visionary magic. Full-disclosure, this isn’t a copywriting or content generation prompt … this prompt is about designing your daily routine in tandem with your goals.
The Prompt
I will tell you my dream life, 1-3 years from now. Based on this description, I want you to tell me a fun, vision-casting story of a day in my life as my future self. You can use what you’ve learned about me in all my other chats!
Here’s where I want to be in X years:
[Type up—the more specific, the better it works!—your dream life. It was helpful for me to go through all the different life domains & jot out 3ish lines: spiritual, physical/body, mind/learning, relational/marriage/family, community, finances, work, hobbies. Ex. how much and how long you work, your revenue and margins, your offers, how you care for your mind & body, what your family dynamics look like, etc.]
THEN, ENTER THIS:
Great! Now, create a weekly and daily schedule for me to follow that will allow me to achieve this vision.
[You COULD leave this part out … and see what you get. I added this & liked my results] For context, [give details on how you work, ex. I like to have complete quiet/tiger/sacred time with no meetings first]. I work X hours a day X days a week, and need to [any other details about your team make-up or time, ex. “I like to write freely for about 20 min a day first thing” OR “theme my days to batch projects together”].
========
Here’s how it helps:
- Visualize your ideal future in vivid detail.
- Create a roadmap for aligning your daily actions with long-term goals.
- Refine your schedule to work smarter, not harder.
When I tried this, I included specifics like themed workdays, my preferred hours, and the tasks I ACTUALLY have to do (ex. draft our weekly Dog-Ear, hop into The Copy Bar Collective membership .5 hours a day, etc.). The result? An AI-generated schedule that blew my mind and helped me structure my routine more effective. I was silly smiling on a plane reading the results!
