Hey! Ashlyn here, OG copywriter for creatives—reporting for duty.

Let's get you a message so tight you can bounce a quarter off of it. Around here, we serve up science-based storytelling strategies the creative set.  Even while raking in more than 1.26M in agency work since I've been at it, I firmly believe working from a place of rest (not hustle) IS possible—and I want the same for you. Words matter. Best be sure they work (and oui, with math) ... and know how to party while they're at it.

You’ve heard of it, now you just need a Trello review? I tried ’em all to manage my business: Asana, Pancake, and more. And while I have a slight tendency towards project-management-learning-obsession (it was arguably my favorite thing to learn from my bosses in PR agency land), Trello is a life-hack app anyone can use. Keep reading and learn to p-man like a pro with Trello!

First of all, what do I mean when I say project management? I’m referring to:

  1. Scheduling of the project
  2. Sequence of steps being the same every time
  3. Systemized housing of all our docs
  4. An overview of all the balls I have spinning in the air

Ok. Yeah. I use Honeybook, and theoretically, you could do p-man with HoneyBook. Honestly? I like Trello better for p-man. I lean on HoneyB to send contracts, automate my payments, send emails, and more.

But to keep ME organized and make sure I schedule the dogs’ vet appointments?

Trello.

Let’s review this sucker, shall we?

Before Trello, I tried Asana, but y’all, I’m so visual: If I don’t see a project, sadly, it slips from my mind. I dabbled in Pancake and 17Hats, but someone described Trello to me as “like sticky notes you can move around.”

You had me at school supplies.

I love Trello for SO many reasons, but why I love it and how to set it up for your creative biz right here:

P-man. Isn’t it the grandest?
