Starting my YouTube channel was one of the SCARIEST things I decided to do as 2017 came to a close, but I *knew* I wanted to educate beyond just blog posts and other free content.
I wanted to show up for my people.
Sometimes, that involves getting risky—for me, that meant turning a camera on (aaaaand showering/doing my hair) so I could teach and get content to people in a way that may be a bit easier to digest than just long-form blog posts.
I have LOVED having a regularly-updated YouTube channel the past 6 months, and it’s grown to nearly 1k subscribers.
In this episode of my friend Tyler Herrinton’s show, Ty’s Tech Line, I spill the beans on what it was like to start the channel and—now!—lean on support from my YouTube goddess expert, Trena Little, who manages that part of our business.
Ty’s podcast chats through the impact of technology on our everyday lives … plus, gives some deep dives into the latest tech trends and what they mean for the rest of us creatives.
It was an honor to sit down and chat with Tyler—I hope you enjoy the episode.

No matter who you are or what you do, technology impacts your life on a daily basis. Ty’s podcast explores what it means to live in a tech-centered world and the implications that has: from the way that we run businesses, to the way we communicate with loved ones and everything in between.
Plus, he doles out some pretty sweet tips about tech that this non-techy girl could use. 😉
