I crave time with my sweet husband, puppies, and friends. BUT, since I run an online business, I truly pay the bills thanks to the power of social media. Couple the bevy of current platforms to share my message on with a new social media platform every 6 months, and you’ve got a recipe for break-neck speed hustle.
But I still don’t hustle to market my small business.

My Step-by-Step Guide to Using CoSchedule for Your Small Business
1. Get an account (you can start for free).
CoSchedule is PERF for ya if you have to promote your business using social media. It’s a drag-and-drop calendar that lets you schedule Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, and WordPress blogs on one tool. Is that dreamy or what? I loved the trial so much that I now pay a cool $15/month. Once you sign up — free or paid — you’re in.
2. Connect all your social media accounts
p.s. It syncs with Buffer, which rocks: I keep Buffer in my browser toolbar, and when I read something I love and want to share, I just click the Buffer button. Buffer and CoSchedule work together to post them later … aka I’m not spamming poor feeds across the nation with 5 stories about calligraphy penmanship or the lastest Rising Tide Society articles at one time. Bril.
3. Schedule posts!
a. I write out all my ideas on a paper editorial calendar.
b. I batch and write all my blogs at once.
c. I create all my graphics at once.
d. I load all my blogs.
e. Then I schedule my posts in CoSchedule. This works better if I show you in a video. Here, I’m using a tool called social media scheduler, which rocks. I get a bird’s-eye view of my content, and can see RIGHT away if I have blank spots …
If I talk about calligraphy too much …
